The ICA informs people about short- and long-term research studies in the areas of IC/BPS, bladder pain, urgency, frequency, chronic pelvic pain, and overlapping conditions such as vulvodynia, fibromyalgia, and irritable bowel syndrome.
Before considering participation, the ICA recommends that you check in with your healthcare team.
Before you enroll in the study:
Ask the study recruiter about any patient costs. Some studies pay a stipend to patients. Others offer free or discounted medical care; however, specifics about coverage may depend on your healthcare benefits.
Call your health insurance company and ask if you would be responsible for any out-of-pocket costs.
The ICA’s assistance in recruiting study participants does not constitute an endorsement of the product/treatment being studied or its manufacturer. We aim to connect interested individuals with research opportunities.
