The Development of a Questionnaire for Women with Chronic Pelvic Pain
The University of Southampton in the UK is conducting a study aiming to develop a new questionnaire that assesses the impact of chronic pelvic pain (CPP) on women’s lives. The study is an online questionnaire which should take about 20 minutes to complete. At this time, the investigators are trying to recruit female participants only. All information provided by participants will be completely confidential and anonymous. The questionnaire will be designed specifically for women with CPP and aims to assess factors they consider relevant and important to them. It is hoped that a new chronic pelvic pain questionnaire will allow for more standardized comparisons between research studies and provide a means to systematically assess women-centered outcomes of interventions.
