November is Bladder Health Month
Interstitial Cystitis Association, a Member of the Bladder Health Alliance,
Successful in Official Proclamation on Healthfinder.gov, and
Secured House and Senate Resolutions to Support the Designation of
“National Bladder Health Month”
The Bladder Health Alliance – a coalition of groups representing physicians, veterans, patients, and patient organizations, was successful in designating the month of November as a reminder to get the facts about common bladder health problems and to encourage the public to take an active role in managing their bladder health (for member listing, see bottom of page).
What does this mean for the ICA and the IC Community?
It’s an incredible opportunity to spread IC Awareness, raise funds, circulate the facts, and help IC patients get a proper diagnosis sooner to help get on with their lives.
ICA, as a member of the Bladder Health Alliance, will be sharing social media announcements throughout the month, exponentially spreading our mission and resources to some who are unaware of ICA and the services we provide. We plan to ensure IC facts and stories are highly visible throughout Bladder Health Month.
How can you help?
Take the ICA Diet Fundraiser Challenge to raise funds for ICA and spread IC awareness!
Let’s go viral with our message during Bladder Health Month.
