Vitamin C is a critical nutrient to help bolster your immune system in the winter months. However, most IC patients can’t tolerate Vitamin C even in a buffered form. But did you know that there are many IC friendly foods that are high in Vitamin C? Try increasing your intake of sweet bell peppers, dark leafy greens, broccoli and peas. (Please note that all IC patients are different, so always add in new foods slowly to test for bladder sensitivity).
