A Message from ICA Leadership
On behalf of the ICA Board of Directors, staff, and volunteers, I wish to extend holiday greetings to you, your family, and friends. We are a community brought together, beyond our control, because of Interstitial Cystitis (IC). We are a community that needs to manage issues within our control in order to improve the lives of people living with IC.
I am privileged and honored to be the new Chairperson of the ICA Board of Directors. It’s an opportunity for me to give back to the organization that provided me the knowledge and tools to take control of my life, following my IC diagnosis 18 years ago.
ICA is very grateful for donations enabling ICA to reach millions of people with IC who have benefited from the information, research and services that contributions help to fund. I know I personally benefited once I found the ICA website, participated in forums, tried the IC diet, and found a community that understood my journey, and advocated on behalf of IC patients.
ICA is determined to improve the lives of everyone living with bladder pain, urinary urgency, and/or urinary frequency, and is committed to eventually conquer IC. See the infographic to the right highlighting how ICA used donations in 2017 to support IC research, educate the IC community and public about IC, advocate on behalf of IC patients, support IC patients and their caregivers, and increase awareness about IC.
We ask you to support our shared efforts in 2018 through a year-end, tax-deductible donation to ICA. In appreciation of your donation, the ICA Board of Directors will match all year-end donations up to $50,000.
Your gift helps provide comfort, research, support, and awareness and allows us to build upon the results that we have successfully accomplished.

P.S. Donations made by year end will be matched up to $50,000, thanks to the generosity of the ICA Board of Directors. Donate today online at http://support.ichelp.org/ICimpact.

ICA Healthcare Provider Registry
For many people with interstitial cystitis (IC), an effective treatment plan requires a team approach, including urologists and other physicians, nurse practitioners, physical therapists, dietitians, and counselors. The ICA Healthcare Provider Registry includes clinicians who have agreed to be a referral source for IC patients. Any registered user of www.ichelp.org has access to this tool. Do you know of other healthcare providers who treat IC patients? Are you a healthcare provider who treats patients with IC and wants to be included in the ICA’s Healthcare Provider Registry? Email your name, suffix, specialty, practice name, address, phone number, and website URL to ICAmail@ichelp.org with your request to be included in the ICA Healthcare Provider Registry.
