National Pain Strategy

ICA staff attended a national meeting of leaders in federal agencies, academic institutions, policy organizations, patient advocacy groups, and industry to discuss the obstacles and opportunities to implementing the National Pain Strategy designed to address the most prevalent public health challenge in the U.S. The group agreed in principle that the chronic pain and addiction communities need to work together to identify and leverage a common ground in order for the plan to move forward.
