Thank you to all who lent your voice in support of the ICA’s advocacy efforts to support the IC education and awareness program at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Calling or writing your two Senators and one House Representative, and posting on social media was critical and influential. Many of the offices we visited were already educated even before we arrived due to numerous calls and emails that beat us to the punch! If you contacted your legislators, ICA would love to know how you did so and what response you received. If you were not able to participate on April 28th, don’t worry – it’s not too late to make your voice heard. In fact, it’s good to keep up the pressure, so go ahead and contact your legislator today.
