Why did Lindsay Sarah Chandler choose ICA for her Facebook Fundraiser?

“I chose ICA as a fundraiser since I’ve had IC about two years now, and my IC becoming much worse last year causing me to lose my job and medically withdraw from college since I was going into the medical field and was told I couldn’t do it anymore. I’m in a few IC support groups and I’m very open about IC on my personal page. I’ve helped a few others get diagnosed after years of it being blown off. They only finally got diagnosed because of my posts talking about my IC battle. IC deserves recognition, respect and better treatments.
