On Tuesday, May 15^th, The Balancing Act will be featuring a segment on interstitial cystitis (IC). The show will be aired on Lifetime at the following times:

The segment will include:

• The patient’s perspective on living with the disease, her experience with her current healthcare provider (HCP), being your own advocate, and her future looks bright
• The expert urologist’s perspective on the condition, his interaction and management with the above patient and how important this HCP-patient interaction is, and key takeaways, which is very compelling as he provides feedback on how important it is for the patient to find a HCP who can dissect out their symptoms, work with the patient to see what treatment plan works best for them, and not just apply an algorithm that they think will work for the masses of patients that have similar symptoms
• Patient and healthcare provider footage that shows what good care looks like
