The Interstitial Cystitis Association (ICA) is calling for applications of knowledgeable, engaged, and inspired volunteers to fill up to four positions to lead, advise, and support the activities of the ICA by serving on its Board of Directors for a three-year term. The Board plays a leadership role in implementing strategic direction while securing funds to advance the ICA and its mission. Board members collectively represent a range of skills, experience, and expertise in the public, private, and non-profit sectors. ICA’s most critical needs are currently in the areas of finance/accounting, fundraising, development, philanthropy, and public/media relations. The Board meets four times annually of which at least one meeting is conducted in-person/face-to-face in conjunction with ICA’s annual visit to Capitol Hill.
