Ambassador Program Framework

Mission

To empower volunteers to serve as compassionate advocates and informed representatives of the Interstitial Cystitis Association (ICA), providing advocacy, education, and community engagement to improve the lives of those affected by interstitial cystitis/bladder pain syndrome (IC/BPS).

Vision

To maintain a dynamic network of dedicated ambassadors who strengthen the ICA's impact by fostering meaningful connections, promoting awareness, and advancing the ICA's mission to support, educate, and advocate for individuals living with IC/BPS.

Overarching Goals
  1. Patient Support: Provide timely, empathetic, and accurate responses to patient inquiries, ensuring individuals with IC/BPS feel supported and heard.
  2. Community Engagement: Cultivate an active, supportive, and informed IC/BPS community through social media interaction and virtual programming.
  3. Awareness & Education: Increase public understanding of IC/BPS by leveraging ambassadors to share credible information and personal stories.
  4. Fundraising Leadership: Empower ambassadors to lead innovative and impactful fundraising initiatives that sustain ICA programs and services.
  5. Volunteer Development: Equip ambassadors with training, resources, and opportunities to grow as leaders and advocates in the IC/BPS community.
