Most IC Patients Try to Exercise
During the past month, 917 IC patients shared their exercise
practices with the ICA. A staggering 73%
of patients reported that they exercise and just over half (51%) of the survey
respondents reported trying to exercise more than a couple of times per week. When compared to national studies that
indicate that 30% of Americans get little or no exercise, this is an impressive
finding and way ahead of the curve. Go team IC! Another quarter of IC patients
reported trying to exercise a couple of times a week (14%), trying to exercise once
a week (4%), or a few times a month (5%). Only 26% of survey respondents don’t exercise
