Most IC Patients Try to Exercise

During the past month, 917 IC patients shared their exercise practices with the ICA. A staggering 73% of patients reported that they exercise and just over half (51%) of the survey respondents reported trying to exercise more than a couple of times per week. When compared to national studies that indicate that 30% of Americans get little or no exercise, this is an impressive finding and way ahead of the curve. Go team IC! Another quarter of IC patients reported trying to exercise a couple of times a week (14%), trying to exercise once a week (4%), or a few times a month (5%). Only 26% of survey respondents don’t exercise regularly.
