IC Friends of Australia is a new online message board offering support to the global IC community, and especially to those living in Australia. The first Australian IC site of its size and scope, the forum provides a safe and friendly place 
to discuss life with IC and related topics. Here's a sampling of message board themes:
- The Meeting Place: a special section to introduce yourself and share your IC story
- The Waiting Room: a "room" for those seeking an IC diagnosis and who want to discuss symptoms
- The Clinic: a place for you to discuss diagnostic techniques and related (and unrelated) conditions
- The Pharmacy: here you can discuss all kinds of IC treatments, from over-the-counter products to prescription medicines and alternative therapies
- The Café: a great place to stop by and discuss diet issues related to IC, share recipes, and compare IC flare coping strategies
- The Tool Shed: this area is dedicated solely to men with IC
Other message board areas include a White Pages section to find others in Australia who have IC, and discussions on parenting, single-living, work, school, and even pets -- as they relate to having IC.
